Nowadays, people do not share warm relationships with their neighbours. Many are not acquainted with their neighbours. It is vastly believed that this coldness in this unique relationship has some bothering implications. This essay aims to discuss the consequences of this trend. Further, it will try to suggest some solutions.

Today, generally, neighbors do not share the kind of close bond they would share a few years back, for today, most like to stay busy doing their work, watching TV, or browsing the internet. Neighbours live closest to us. If a person has an emergency or a need, the neighbors can come to rescue. For example, if a person has a medical emergency, one can not wait to avail help from relatives or friends who may live far away. In this scenario, one can ask for help from a neighbour unhesitantly if they are acquainted or friends with one another.
Moreover, neighbors are the people that live closest to us and that emotional human touch to our lives that all of us need. When we have friendly people around us, our own life becomes a bit happier. Also, there have been many instances when a neighbor’s watchful eyes saved someone from a fatal accident such as theft or other mishaps. If people avoid their neighbors or do not know them, they may be deprived of these advantages.

This issue can be resolved effortlessly by interacting more with the neighbours. One must have faith that these can be rewarding connections. If people are ready to go out and leave behind their social media browsing or watching TV, they may find a support system or a community very close to them.
