No doubt, the entry of numerous low-expense players in the aviation sector has given a fair opportunity to those who could not afford to travel by air earlier. It is a blessing as more families can enjoy trips to exotic locations, which they could only dream of. As a result, people look forward to their vacation. In addition, now, it is economical for businesses to travel to business hubs in and out of the country to avail opportunities that otherwise may be near-impossible or highly expensive. Thus, this facility has helped people alleviate their personal and professional life.

However, many believe a significant rise in low-budget carriers has had a negative impact, mainly on our environment. Firstly, increased air traffic has been contributing massively to pollution, for flights cause much carbon emissions. When more people take the journey to travel destinations, these tourist destinations have to bear a lot, for locals face troubles due to increased crowds and excessive commercial activities leading to contamination of natural resources.

I believe that low-budget airlines and low-cost travel should be encouraged, but there may be efforts toward heightened sensitivity toward the environment. Also, newer tourist destinations can be promoted to reduce the load on the currently popular ones. Finally, there is no way this trend may be reversed now, for there will be a rise in such movements in the future with more players entering the arena; thus, there should be efforts to increase management of hefty travels in all parts of the world.
