The demand for coaching services has grown significantly in the digital age, with online coaching platforms becoming prevalent. Some now feel online coaching is a superior option to in-person coaching. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With rising competition and high difficulty level of competitive exams, there has been a surge in parents and students seeking help from online and offline coaching options. Some think that online coaching is a better option today. I believe online coaching has numerous advantages, but it can not substitute offline teaching medium, for this mode offers vital and irreplaceable edges over the online mode.

Online classes offer many benefits to the learners and the teachers. Firstly, it provides more flexibility, and one can attend classes even if one can not travel to school or institute. Secondly, one can view the benefit of studying in remote areas from universities and teachers of their choice. Online teaching mode proved immensely helpful during COVID-19 lockdowns and ensured students did not suffer due to the prevailing conditions.

However, coaching or teaching is not just limited to teaching curriculum, it includes teachers guiding their students to enable them to deal with moral, social or personal issues. The online mode does not allow interaction at that level since when students do not meet their teachers, the close bond between teachers and students is challenging to develop. In addition, students do not enjoy enough rapport with one another when they attend classes over the Internet. On the other hand, attending offline classes allows learners to strike up friendships with one another, which helps in peer learning and makes learning enjoyable, thus making the offline mode more rewarding and satisfying.

Finally, online classes are acceptable and a satisfactory choice under unavoidable circumstances; nonetheless, offline coaching has many more vital advantages as it is more satisfying for learners and coaches.
