Some people feel that the private lives of celebrities should not be openly shared by the media. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the media does not hesitate to share the details of the personal aspects of their life. It is often believed that media must restrict itself from sharing information that may be too private. I agree with this statement and shall discuss it in detail in the following paragraphs.

These days, famous people have to undergo much media attention and scrutiny. At the same time, the worst aspect of media behaviour is the liberty media houses take to share the private parts of celebrity lives. First, it is morally incorrect to keep following people, disturbing them when they spend time by themselves or with their near and dear ones, and disclosing parts of their private lives. Personal time and space invaded can become a source of anxiety and stress for some people.
Most bugging is when paparazzi keep following young children and toddlers of famous movie stars, for it is unhealthy for young growing children to have massive media attention frequently. There have been violent brawls between movie stars and the media when the media tried intruding on their personal space too much by sharing details of their confidential life. Many celebrities have reported they face significant challenges and considerable stress when certain magazines or electronic media spread the news about a movie star’s intimate life for their commercial benefits. There have been cases of celebrities suing media houses for breaching their privacy and publishing details. These celebrities further report that sometimes they have no other option but to get used to such callous behavior by the media.

To sum up, pestering someone’s personal space and then putting out the same in the public arena can cause a lot of harm to celebrities. No doubt, fans wish to know about their favourite celebrities, but even they do not want to see their favourite ones suffering due to excessive scrutiny.
