Some people believe educational success depends on good teachers, while others believe students’ attitudes are important. Discuss both and give your own opinion.

Some assert that whether the educational system attains its aim or not, depends on teachers, while others believe that it depends on the students. This essay aims at discussing both sides of the argument and finally concludes.

Since ancient times, educators have been credited for playing a vital role in the lives of students, for how well a teacher describes a concept decides the level of understanding a child may develop in a subject. Some teachers explain the most challenging concepts simply, and they can make the most complex and dull topics interesting. A good teacher is considered a blessing, while an immature or incapable teacher can play a massive role in spoiling a child’s future. Further, teachers do not just teach bookish concepts, they also guide their pupils on various worldly matters and offer moral support.

However, the education system can not be successful without active and conscience participation by the learners. It can be proved by the fact that a teacher trains multiple students through their journey, yet not everyone shows positive results. These results could be professional success or an enriched personal life. Teaching can not be effective unless the student is ready to receive what is taught. Many successful people credit their success to their teachers or gurus.

Finally, I believe that the education system can only be successful and result-oriented if teachers and students play their roles with utmost sincerity. A devoted teacher and an earnest student can make this world better. History textbooks are full of stories of pairs of gurus where the teachers pushed their disciples to eminence. However, not everyone can achieve greatness; only a few disciples can utilize the help offered to become extraordinary. Thus, it is teamwork.
