Parents want to achieve a balance between family and career but only a few manage to achieve it. What do you think is the reason? Discuss possible solutions and provide examples.

Accomplishing work-life balance has been getting more and more challenging, and only a few have been able to attain it. The following paragraphs discuss the causes behind this trend and suggest a few possible solutions.

First, nowadays, in most families, both partners work, and people can not take out enough time for each other and other family members. It puts pressure on everyone and creates an imbalance among family members. Secondly, most people are more ambitious and materialistic than before. So, they spend most of their time working and building their careers. Moreover, there is far more competition in all the fields than before, so people are on their toes, always. The widespread use of social media has boosted this ill feeling of competition among people. Finally, the rise of private multinational companies has encouraged bothering trend of employees working overtime and on weekends.

Though the diminishing work-life balance has proved to be rather bothering, a few small steps can ensure encouraging balance in personal and professional life. First, people should stop spending time on futile activities like browsing social media and watching too many videos on the internet. Second, the family can together plan their schedule, so they may have a window of time that suits everyone to spend with one another.

Finally, striking a balance between work and personal life is a bit more challenging today, but it is easily achievable with a little wisdom, time management, and coordination.
