Many people believe that it’s better to learn something in a group rather than individually.

Do you agree or disagree?

Some people think group learnings are better than studying in seclusion. I do not concur with this statement, for learning happens best when one studies alone. I shall discuss my point of view in the following paragraphs.

First, learning requires one to focus on their subject.
Concentration can be better if one is alone. When one is alone, one can study more effectively and complete a lot of stuff in a short time because they are solely focused on their studies.
Sometimes some complicated concepts need more practice and revision, which is possible only when one spends ample time understanding these concepts in seclusion. Not just this, one-to-one class sessions are more effective since the student gets undivided attention from their teacher, which can work wonders for the student. Here the student gets a chance to get all their doubts cleared on time, and the pace of studies can be customized, which can be highly beneficial for the student. Consequently, one-to-one sessions are highly-priced.

It has been observed that when friends or classmates try to study in a group, they can share their learnings, but generally, such sessions lead to a lot of wastage of time because sometimes learners start gossiping or chit-chatting with one another. In group classes, a trainer can not give attention to every student. As a result, sometimes some students’ issues are not removed due to the limitation of time. This mode is especially unfavorable for shy and underconfident students, for they find it difficult to ask questions in the presence of other students.

To sum up, I believe individual studies are better than group classes or education. Many reasons to justify the same have been provided.
