It has become easier and more affordable for people in other countries. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

There has been a boom in the hospitality industry, so many more international travels can be seen. This shift has negative and positive impacts both. I aim to discuss the merits and demerits of this change in the following paragraphs.

There have been many advantages to this shift. Many new low-cost airlines and the construction of numerous hotels and resorts have made it easier and more economical for people to travel. Many people dream of travelling to exotic places, and the recent changes have given wings to their dreams. As a result of this shift, there has been more cultural exchange and e-commerce between far-off places. People learn from other people and try to adopt if they find something worth learning from those in foreign nations. Another benefit of the said shift is that there has been more uniformity in different parts of the world causing a reduction in disparity.

On the other hand, a lot of traveling has contributed to an increase in pollution. A rise in environmental decay has been a grave concern for everyone in all parts of the world. The more people travel, the more carbon footprints are added. Secondly, the more people interact, the more they may be swayed by others’ ways, so there may be chances of mindless adoption of others’ methodologies. It has been observed that sometimes people, especially youngsters are impressionable, so they embrace and sometimes copy other traditions and lifestyles without thinking if this is good or bad for them. Excessive travelling can have these impacts on people, lifestyles, and traditions.
