The budget of a nation is generally limited, and there has always been a debate regarding the best options for the financial authority to spend accounts. Thus, though some believe that more budget should be allocated to education and less to art, others feel ample funds should be directed towards arts. I agree with the second thought.
First, arts are a vital part of one’s life since it keeps us joyful and naturally purposeful. One should not forget that art and creation are also the language of nature, so we feel peaceful and blissful when we enjoy art. It is, therefore, of utmost importance to encourage arts, crafts, music, and painting by assigning a sufficient budget to them.
On the other hand, education is of primary importance to become aware of the world around us and live a life of respect, as education helps one find a well-paying job. This factor helps raise the living standard of people and reduce mutual financial dependency. With the low literacy rate in the world, especially in developing and underdeveloped countries, it becomes all the more important to invest more in educating people. As a result, all nations try to enhance their literacy rates by investing their funds in opening more schools and colleges.
I believe education is vital, and everyone must get at least a fundamental education. Sometimes governments struggle to provide this level of literacy to their people due to a lack or mismanagement of means. However, arts are second to none. Education ensures worldly requirements may be met; on the other hand, arts, ensure our soul is fulfilled and makes our journey through life a bit lighter and joyful. Therefore, both are vital and must be given equal importance.
