Business moves to underdeveloped or remote areas because of rising congestion in cities. There are many benefits and drawbacks to this situation. The following paragraphs aim at discussing the advantages and disadvantages of this movement and concluding if it is a worthy step or not.
The excessive rush and crowd in cities contribute to delays in services and transportation to factories and other organizations. The second issue is that the cost of properties ( residential and commercial) is very high. Thus, it becomes difficult for an employee to find a decent and affordable place in central locations. For the same reason, the expenses companies pay for a property in cities can cause a lot of burden for them. Lastly, these areas are peaceful and offer a chance to live a stressless and serene life. Thus, looking for a suitable place in suburban and remote areas is often seen as a better option.
However, setting up company offices and factories outlying can pose some challenges. First, there may be an issue with transportation material from and to nearby cities. It may cause delays leading to operational challenges and adding to expenses. In addition, usually, rural areas lack modern facilities and the option of a high-end lifestyle. Such places do not have reputed educational institutes, modes of transportation, or multispeciality hospitals. Moreover, the rural areas lack the vibrance of cities and sources of entertainment.
I believe urban areas are better for setting up businesses for a business can not be too far from facilities and its customers. Also, rural areas can not provide the quality of life and dynamism as cities can. However, if the governments can focus on the uniform progress of rural and urban areas and if there is uniformity in the distribution of facilities, this issue can be resolved. Finally, the given facts suggest that the urban regions are suitable places for trade to progress.
