A century ago, the use of technology for all aspects of life was new, and there was massive scope for an update in each area of life. Though, today, it is believed that the progress has not happened as expected.
Almost all areas of human life have undergone massive changes due to technological advancements, the end of the colonial era, updates in the education systems, an increase in trade between nations, and political cordiality among nations.
Although the progress seemed highly promising 100 years back, today, it can be seen that the same trail of development has either failed to help many, or it has left behind numerous side effects to deal with. Thus, many areas still need work. First, mindless progress has caused massive harm to our environment, and air, soil, water, and noise pollution have become global nuisances. This challenge has been discussed many times on local and international platforms, yet this pollution is only rising. Secondly, the overuse of technology though has made our lives convenient, it has made all of us lethargic and comfort-seeking.
These advancements have also posed many a threat to jobs. Also, many parts of the world are still deprived of development.
Thus, more work needs to be done to check the rising pollution in this world. In addition, the governments must see to it that employment opportunities are ensured for all. The governments of all the nations, along with the international bodies, must ensure uniform development in various parts of the world.
To sum up, many developments have been made by the humans, yet numerous areas still need updates.
